Green capacity

Megawatts with a clean source.

EOGSB has access to all-green data centre capacity in ASEAN — facilities whose operating electricity is matched to renewable generation rather than drawn from an unabated grid mix. We will put the mechanism behind that claim in writing, because your auditor is going to ask.

The problem

AI has a power footprint, and someone will have to report it.

A single 5 MW GPU cluster running near-continuously is a substantial industrial electrical load. Multiply that across a market and it is a national energy planning question.

For the buyer, it is more immediate than that. If you are a neocloud selling inference to enterprises, the carbon intensity of your compute is now a line item in your customer's scope 3 reporting. If you are an enterprise running your own AI factory, it is in your scope 2. Either way, the grid mix behind your rack has stopped being an operational detail and become a commercial one.

Ask

What is the supply mechanism?

Direct PPA, contracted renewable supply, on-site generation, or a national green tariff. These are not equivalent and the difference will matter to whoever audits you.

Ask

What volume is contracted?

Matched to your load, or matched to a percentage of the facility's total? Over what period — hourly, annual?

Ask

What is the evidence?

Certification, attestation, or a sustainability page. Only two of those three are worth anything.

Ask

What is the actual cost delta?

Sometimes a premium. Sometimes nothing. Occasionally cheaper. Get the number, do not assume it.

Our position

We broker it. We do not vouch for it.

What we will do

Force the renewable claim into the RFI as a question the operator has to answer in writing: mechanism, contracted volume, matching period, certification. Then show you the evidence they gave us, alongside the cost delta against conventional supply in the same market.

What we will not do

Reprint an operator's sustainability marketing as though we had audited it. We are a broker, not a certification body. What we can do is make sure the right questions get asked before you sign, and that the answers are on paper.

Questions

Green capacity, answered.

What do you mean by an 'all-green' data centre?

A facility whose operating electricity is matched to renewable generation — through direct power purchase agreements, on-site or contracted renewable supply, or a national green tariff — rather than drawn from an unabated grid mix. The specific mechanism differs by facility and by country, and it matters, because the mechanism is what your auditor and your customers will ask about.

Does going green cost more?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. In some ASEAN markets the green tariff carries a premium; in others, renewable supply is competitive with grid power and the constraint is availability rather than price. We will show you the actual delta rather than assume one.

Can EOGSB evidence the renewable claim?

We will ask the operator to evidence it, in writing, in the RFI — the supply mechanism, the contracted volume, and the certification or attestation behind it. What we will not do is repeat an operator's sustainability marketing to you as if we had verified it ourselves.

Why does this matter for AI workloads specifically?

Because the loads are enormous and growing, and because the customers buying AI compute are increasingly institutions with hard reporting obligations. A GPU fleet running on unabated grid power is a scope 3 problem for every enterprise that buys tokens from it.

Next step

Send us the requirement. We come back with options.

Node count, GPU class, kW per rack, target market, in-service date. That is enough for us to open the conversation with the right suppliers and the right facilities. Under NDA from first contact.
